Craft beer growth keeps business flowing for Butchertown tap com – WDRB 41 Louisville News
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Just like bourbon, the craft beer industry is in the midst of huge growth and it’s not just a benefit to bars and breweries. It’s also a boon to accessory companies that aid the flow of beer from creator to customer.
The Crescent Hill Craft House just opened a couple of weeks ago at 2636 Frankfort Avenue in Louisville’s Crescent Hill neighborhood.
Its owner is Beau Kerley had 40 taps installed by a small, locally owned tap installation company.
"We’ve tried to spotlight all of the Kentucky beers and ones from Southern Indiana too," says Kerley, "forty craft beers on tap, you don’t see that too often."
To install and maintain Kerley’s sophisticated tap system, he hired a Louisville based company called Drinkswell Service Company whose offices are in the Butchertown neighborhood.
"We use the most advanced technology in craft beer to pour this beer and to make sure it comes into the glass clean," says Drinkswell taps installer Evan Bullen, the nephew of the company’s owner Ed Bullen.
