Enjoy craft beer, food trucks in Everett this weekend

This is the third year that downtown Everett will be crawling with craft beer fans on a Saturday afternoon in August. This year the festival is focusing on fruit. Brewers coming to the third annual festival, held this Saturday, were told to bring their best fruit beers. A number obliged and are bringing beers brewed with raspberries, blackberries, strawberries and more. A few of the fruit beers that will be pouring on Saturday include: Huckleberry Hound Cream Ale from Foggy Noggin Brewing, Mowie Wowie, an ale brewed with mangoes and oranges, from Gallaghers Where U Brew, and Rubus Robustus Blackberry Stout, from Whitewall Brewing. This year’s festival features 33 breweries, including a late entry in Boundary Bay Brewing, pouring over 100 different beers. Boundary Bay is bringing Whatcom Wheat Krystalweizen, a collaboration beer by all nine Bellingham breweries.The festival is from noon to 7 p.m. and will take place on Hoyt between Hewitt and Pacific.
